As you might all know, there was a new update for Source SDK, along with TF2's update. The new Hammer includes many features what are seen in L4D2's Hammer (manifest, instances), but it also unfortunetly came with a rendering bug too. When you start Hammer, the 2D views are blank (no wireframe are drawn), and the 3D view also has a rendering issue (models/brushes turn into black on some viewpoints).
I will not be able to map for a short time, mainly because of two reasons: This month will be a busy one, thesis, driving exam and more. And second is the Hammer issue. I will continue working on the maps after all these are completed.
So until then, see you next time with more contents. ;)

Hrm, this used to happen when some specific materials were copied to the mod folder, I'll have a look and see what needs to be changed.

That is a well known issue after the latest update of the SDK bins. It seems that the rendering engine is causing all these (since it runs on DirectX 9, and probably it's using the L4D2 shaders), but there is a work around with it. Hammer has to be started with -dxlevel 81 in order to get it working.
